SPENT SULFURIC ACID REGENERATION
Industrial producers are increasingly faced with difficult choices about how to treat harmful waste streams that are byproducts of their core processes. In established industries with high volumes, toll sulfuric acid regeneration facilities are an attractive alternative to on-site neutralization or disposal. But there are many industrial processes from which sulfur-bearing waste streams have historically been neutralized instead of regenerated.
Neutralization minimizes the up-front capital investment at the expense of operation costs of the neutralization reagent and disposal. And while reagents remain readily available around the world, some governments are increasing regulatory standards for waste disposal, making the regeneration of spent acid streams more attractive than in the past. The most proven way to regenerate spent sulfuric acid is to decompose the feeds into their most basic components so that they can be cleaned and recombined to form the desired product stream. PLASTICS & RESINS

Plasticizer vapors produced during the manufacture of plastics and resin products can condense in the air causing hydrocarbon emissions and dense plumes, unless they are captured. Brink® mist eliminators in packaged systems can be used on curing ovens, extruders and injection molding machines to effectively remove the sub-micron mists generated in these processes
